Unfortunately, as I found out the hard way. In v7.0 and above you must
license the DBO option and the file-type option. It starts at 1TB and is
tiered based upon your file type device sizes. <rant>They caught on to our
fantastic idea of writing to disk first before writing to tape... and now
they charge us for it</rant>. DBO allows you to read and write from the
device at the same time, whereas the file_type only allows only one action
at a time. DBO is a very good option, but you must have a minimum of 2-3
times your dialy backup to make it worth your while.
