This probably has nothing to do with Networker but I'll ask anyway.
All of our production systems run Tru64 on alpha boxes. I use RedHat
(Fedora) for my office desktop. I connect to the Tru64 systems using ssh
which sets my DISPLAY variable, viz:
dumv44:~$ echo $DISPLAY
dumv44:10.0
dumv44:~$ xclock &
[1] 153624
dumv44:~$
Most X applications work fine (netscape, xclock, xeyes, xterm what have
you) but when I run nwadmin I get a hundred or so lines like this:
Unaligned access pid=152628 <nwadmin> va=0x1402f6eec pc=0x12019a5b0
ra=0x120199398 inst=0xb4b50008
Unaligned access pid=152628 <nwadmin> va=0x1402f6ef4 pc=0x12019a578
ra=0x120199398 inst=0xb6c40004
Unaligned access pid=152628 <nwadmin> va=0x1402f6efc pc=0x12019a5b0
ra=0x120199398 inst=0xb4b50008
Then nwadmin appears on my display and I can work.
Does anyone knowledgeable about XFree86 know how I can configure my
system so I don't get this torrent of messages each time I start
nwadmin??? Of course, if I start from a launcher I don't see any of the
messages, out of sight out of mind.
Regards,
Clem Taylor
