No, the ndmp dump on the netapp will not take Networker directives into
account: it's not a Networker process.
It's a netapp specific process/utility that conforms to a standard that
Networker ( or rather snapimage through it's ndmpd ) can accept and send to
tape.

Actually, the dump process on the netapp is a lot like ufsdump ( 4 passes
and such ).

Folks,

   I have one question regarding Legato backup. I could not find an
 answer in Legato Docs.

 If I put any directive nsr.dir on the NetApp disk shared on the Windows

 clients and will do backup NetApp via NDMP.

Will Legato server takes into account this directives or not?
