Just wanted to verify, I saw on the list serv something about a patch that is 
required to backup and "RECOVER" a Window's 2003
client with a Networker 6.1.3 server.   The Legato support rep below thinks 
it's supported without any patches......


If a patch is required does someone have the patch ID,  not the  actuall patch, 
put it's LGPpannnnn ?

Networker 7.0 and 7.1 support backing up Windows 2003.  Networker 7.1 will not 
be shipped out on new media until the new year.  The
latest media contains NetWorker 7.0 and you should receive this soon if you 
have not already received it.  You can always download
all our software at www.legato.com/eval

You will be able to backup a 7.x client to a 6.x server without issue according 
to our product readiness team.  You would not be
able to backup a 7.x client to a 5.x server however.  I am not aware of any 
patch that is required to accomplish this as the
software can do it on its own.
