I've never really looked into backup levels other than Full &
Incremental, closed mind to all new stuff perhaps. It's easier to stick
with what you know.

Anyhow, it might be time to venture off to new horizons.

What are the recommended Level's of backups to do throughout the week.

Currently we do a FULL on the weekends and Incrementals Mon-Thurs.

Is there a better way of doing this say with the numbers?

[1 - 9] backs up files that have changed since the last lower numbered
backup level. For example, a level 1 backup backs up all the files that
have changed since the last full backup (considered a level zero. A
level 3 backup backs up all the files that have changed since the last
level 2 backup, level 1 backup, or full backup.

If so, how would you set this up? A different number for Mon-Thurs?

Any enlightenment would be great!

Thank you,
Steve
