If you are trying to restore files from the server and direct those files
to the client, the server and client must have the same OS class. That
means if you servers is windows based you can only direct restore to
windows based clients (Unix based servers to unix clients and Linux server
to linux clients).

Try going to the client and using the recover command line for nwrecover
GUI. This should fix you problem.

Hello,

I'm running networker 7 on linux and have a small issue I can't work
out. When trying to restore a file from a linux client using the
networker user gui from windows I get the following error. "you cannot
find versions of /. it is not a real file". I can restore files from
windows cients without and issues, can anyone maybe shed any light on
this ?

Thanks in advance.
