The library is a Compaq TL 895 with 7 35/70 DLT drives that are
connected to the server via SCSI.  Two drives per SCSI bus.  The reason
for this rebuild is that our current server is a Compaq DL360 with no
room for expansion.

What kind of drives?
How does the library attach to the server?
Are all drive on the same SCSI backplane?
Curious as to why you are rebuilding to slower hardware...

Need more info.
