Hi Paul
Staging is basically a superset of the cloning functionality. A cloning
process will write to only one output device at a time. But, you can run
multiple staging/cloning jobs concurrently, though you'd need to be careful
that you don't, for instance, need the same source media for multiple clone
sessions.

Subject: [Networker] Staging to Multiple Drives
We are planning on installing a SAN to establish a "backup to disk" style of
backups with the use of staging to offload data to tapes. There was a
discussion a few months ago on this list about the fact that the staging
process would only make use of one tape drive, apparently because the
saveset is one large file. I haven't found anything about it in the
documentation whether this problem has been solved or not. Has this issue
been addressed in the latest version? Any information would be greatly
appreciated.
