You are probably using version 7.0 of the client:

Warning Message Generated When Recovering Files to a Client Using a
Release Earlier Than 7.0 (LGTpa42916)
The following warning message is generated if you use a release of
NetWorker
earlier
than 7.0 to recover a save set that was backed up with a release 7.0
client:

recover: Warning: ASDF type 0x37 version 0 not recognized
Received 1 file(s) from NSR server `gomez.dw.org' Recover
completion time: Tue Aug 06 15:53:56 2002
This does not effect the overall recovery and all files are recovered
properly.

ran into this today :-)
