Robert,

What exactly do you mean when you say the machine "recently moved"?
Could you maybe have put it onto a new subnet of your network which requires
different permission to access than before?
Are you logging on to the Networker server as either Root or Administrator?
If you physically moved it only, then this problem would not make sense.
Anytime you get "Access violation" errors on a machine that resolves fine
otherwise, I will always suspect a problem with something related to
permission.

Godspeed!

I'm trying to back up a machine which recently moved. I'm seeing this:

09/19/03 09:56:08 nsrd: Access violation - unknown host: %'u s
09/19/03 09:56:09 nsrd: Access violation - unknown host: libc.mo
09/19/03 09:56:09 nsrd: Access violation - unknown host: ì9@Hn@p8@iþ¿?@
,@lhþ¿iþ¿?@C
09/19/03 09:56:09 nsrd: Access violation - unknown host: libc.mo
09/19/03 09:56:09 nsrd: Access violation - unknown host: ?@C
09/19/03 09:56:10 nsrd: Access violation - unknown host: ?@C
09/19/03 09:56:10 nsrd: Access violation - unknown host:

The host resolves just fine and I have my aliases set up. The rest of
my clients are working fine as well. Anyone seen anything like this?

Robert
