It is not just the client index that is going to help you, you would need
the media index too, so what you are looking for is merging indices. I
would be interested in getting a solution for this too.

If I have 2 Legato servers what (if any) is the best way to import client
indexes from one server to another ?
The purpose of this would be to maintain a standby server or servers to be
used in case the primary Legato server and application servers become
unavailable for an extended length of time .
