Hi,
I have found that using "software" side (i.e. OS) compression actually slows
down the whole system.
You wont gain anything by having compression twice (you cant ZIP a ZIP file
smaller). You get relatively good compression on the drive itself - and that
doesnt put a CPU and performance strain on your OS.
Personally I wouldnt go with it ...

Do the list members have any opinions on using the Windows compression
property on files?
E.g. Does it add to the time backups take because the O/S has to decompress
the files before they're passed to NetWorker?
