We have an Overland Data library attached to a storage node. I would like
to enable auto media management for this library so that it can autolabel
tapes as part-time workers remove or replace tapes in our offsite storage
rotation scenario. When I enable auto media management, Legato attempts to
label a tape in the library but nothing happens. If I try by hand to run
the same nsrjb command, I get "nsrjb: error, No jukebox named
`rd=storagenode:LXN_2200'." This is the same sort of thing I'd get if I
tried to label a tape in a remote library from the Networker server.
Typically I have to log into the storage node to do this.

What I'm thinking is that I need to use SmartMedia to make this work
correctly. Is this correct?

No you don't need SmartMedia, AMM works fine with plain old NetWorker.

It seems a strange problem and I don't know the full answer, but I do
have some tips. Firstly, when you run the command by hand, are you
running it on the storage node? From what you have written I think you
probably are. Secondly, when NetWorker lists the command it is running,
it often misses out quotation marks, and you need to work out where to
put them back in. Finally, IME, this "No jukebox named ..." error
message frequently means something else other than what it says. That
sounds confusing, but I think it can sometimes be a bit of a catch-all
error message. Sorry if that doesn't help you enough.
