Hi,



We just had a problem with an AIT-3 tape getting stuck in a drive.
After getting the tape out of the drive, both drive and tape appear to
be ok but the tape is not wound tightly within the cartridge.  At the
field engineer's suggestion, we ran "mt retension" on the tape.



Has anyone else needed to do this?  Any idea what causes this?  Do you
have any suggestions for preventing this from happening?
