funny, seems that many of the problems this list has, i have a (long) open
ticket w/legato on it. at this point, legato is claiming that the reason we
are seeing tapes marked as full prematurely is scsi timeouts. we are w2k nw
6.1.3, adic scalar 100, 2 ibm lto-1 drives. try the standard futzing around
w/your controller throughput (generally, throttle it back to just above your
drives' write speed capability), and upgrading drivers.
