Hi There,

I havent experienced that "specific" error yet - but - the 0xC0050001 error
code is a general error exception code (meaning it has a problem). I have
seen this code with numerous other non-related problems on NRM.

Could be that it has trouble acessing files. Perhaps try and look at
creating a "blacklist" file to skip certain directories (especially your
backup software, and any other "open" application - such as Anti-Virus etc).

Should that be necessary - Ensure that you back up those directories using a
OFM product (so that they are on your backup's but not on your MOS image).

As well ensure that it has a location to create the NRM MOS image and that
there is enough space on that location.

Much more than that and it becomes a Legato debugging excersie and you
should probably open a case - make sure you have read and understood the
documentation though...

;p

Hope this helps a tad,

Riaan

Subject: [Networker] NetWorker Recovery Manager 2.0 problem

Hi All,
I tried to install NetWorker Recovery Manager on a datazone with NetWorker 7
backup server and five clients.

Here are the current configuration that I have :

. The software version of the NetWorker Recovery Manager is 2.0.

. The version of operating system that I am running is Windows 2000 SP3.

. The application is Trend Micro anti virus.

. The hardware configuration :
   - Compaq Evo D380mx
   - Pentium 4 1.8GHz, 256MB DDRAM, 256KB Cache
   - 40BG HDD SMART ULTRA ATA/100, 1.44 MB FDD
   - Integrated Intel 32 MB VRAM, 52xCD-ROM
   - Integrated Intel Pro/100 Network Connection and 16-bit AC97 Audio

. The problem is generated when manually creating the Mini-OS.

. The exact error messages is
" ERROR: ["CMOSSecondarySA", "MOS SSA"] IBE: Include file MOS SSA data
read error C:....
Creation of Mini-OS image failed. Error code : 0xC0050001
ERROR: ["CCpyOperation", ""] SA OpenRead methode returns error. SA
class name: CMOSPSA. SA object name: MOS. SA error : 0xC00C010D
     UnregisteredComponent returned 0x0000000
    "

Anyone have ever experienced this case and already solved it ?

Please, give me advance.

Thanks and regards,

Muhadi
