Ello,

I know this has been resolved - BUT - as a matter of interest, we have
(presently and historically) quite a few issues with the "automatic"
scheduling of SAP backups.

It helps when one understands that the nsrsapsv process DOESNT inherit (or
seems to inherit incorrectly) the "set variables" from the operating system.
Hence,

As a rule we (I) now go through the tedious effort of including "everything"
when I setup my nsrsapsv.cfg file

(homedrive, userprofile, all paths (incl temp) to name a few).

It surely helped me to know this beforehand. Unfortunately there is no
"complete" list of variables to include.

Have Fun !

Regards,

Riaan

After searching a long time and not finding anything, a little
friend called 'luck' helped me in getting notice of the feature
called 'regedit'.

In other words: It seemed that SAP is able to store and retrieve
some of its settings from the registry database. As you probably
expect, i found an entry under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SAP\B10\Environment
for TEMP and TMP which contained "%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp".

SAP was ignoring every TEMP setting in its configuration files,
local environment and global environment because of this setting.
After changing the registry values to C:\TEMP, it's now saving quite
fine.

Thanks anyway for all your support in this case and happy weekend.

With kind regards,
