We have had an issue a few times where the DNS entry, nsswitch file
or /etc/hosts file has change the order of the backup server entry (i.e.
fully qualified name first, short name second or vice versa). When this
happens, the index location of the server's client index changes to a
subdirectory. For instance:

previous location: /nsr/index/backupserver.abc.com/
new location: /nsr/index/backupserver.abc.com/backupserver/

Server still operates fine but now the indexes are in two different
locations and is no longer browsable. Does anyone know of a way to merge
the index databases? Also have a problem recovering the index data from
the previous location because the server thinks it has a different name.
