It seems this solution will only cause trouble ..!

So, I want to avoid having all app servers fight for
bandwidth by using the existing fiber. The document
José referred to (thanks!) says don't use the same HBA
as for disks because you kill it with a reboot, plus a
lot of other warnings.

But there are at least 2 people using it out there, I
don't know how similar a configuration but you said it
worked, maybe at least the storage node on a cluster
and not necessarily with DDS.

I am just frustrated because Legato announced DDS
support on MSCS last year and turns out it is under so
many restrictions. SCSI definitions, lack of OS
support, lack of compatibility between FC products
manufacturers, call them what you want but things are
just not ready.

I thought on going around it by making just one
physical member a storage node and share with the
server, hoping a reboot of this new storage node will
not corrupt my data. If it's not up, I'll let its
backup crowd my net.
