Thanks Bob, Carolina and Ryan for such detailed
answers!

There seem to be two important issues: DDS support on
cluster failover and the SCSI problem that Carolina
mentioned. I remember last November we were going to
implement DDS with a new storage node and this problem
kept us out (hence the lack of capacity today!)

I have been trying to find something about SCSI
reserve in Legato's knowledge base but there doesn't
seem to be much written. Is this really still an
issue? The admin guide on 6.1.x does not mention it,
have not checked in that for version 7. Should I stay
out of it because of that? I can't afford dedicating a
drive to this cluster.

Bart, you confirmed that I must reinstall the cluster
members to add the storagenode binaries, but do I need
to do it in the active cluster, then take over and do
the other & register a cluster service? I don't have
much of a free hand with applicatin servers so I must
try to be "efficient" ;)

thanks to all!
Aure
