Hi,
We had the same issue on HP. The problem was caused by using the -e option
in the save command on the clients. Take a look on your retention policy
with mminfo at the involved savesets, may be there is listed 1 year as
policy and not your own values.
If you are using "save -e ..." then try the "save -w aaa -y bbb". If the
problem is gone then this is the bug we've got.
For 6.1.2 there is LGTpa43209, i don't know the bug-ig for 6.1.1 or 6.1.3.
Please note, that the problem is caused by the version of your
client-software, not of your server.
Regards
Klaus

Betreff: [Networker] Mismatch of saving vs archiving messages in Sessions
GUI
Legato 6.1.1 and 6.1.3 on Solaris 8 (2 different masters). On both servers,
we have begun seeing standard backup clients reporting both "$Server:$Path
saving to pool..." and "$Server:$Path archiving to pool...". These are
normal savefs/save.exe executed backups, not nsrarchive processes.
Has any one else seen this? It's not hurting anything, but it is a touch
confusing despite our use of "One Month" pool for normal backups and
"Archive X" for archives. Any information would be helpful.
