Are you sure that doing MMRECOV from the Sun E4500 to the HP-V would not
work?
If memory serves me (which sometimes it does not! <g>), as long as both
platforms are UNIX, then the contents of the \nsr directory should be none
the wiser.

IMHO..  since HP has been commisioned as your new DR system, what harm is
there in trying?

All,

Does anyone have "unsupported" procedures/experience with moving a
Networker server (6.1.x) from a Sun platform to a HP platform?  Or, will
this simply not work?

My company wants to save some money on a HP V-series that has been
decommissioned from its original use so they've designated it as my DR
system.  Problem is, I run production on an Sun E4500.

Any comments, procedures, help, or advice would be appreciated.
