I run NW 6.2 with AlphaStor 2.1.2_04P2 for media management attached to
FC/SCSI bridges in an L700e library with 15 LTO drives. The Alphastor
server, the Networker Server and a SAN attached Storage node can see,
via the zoning setup on the FC switches, all 15 drives within the
library. Periodically jobs hang with no error, unmounts fail, mounts
take a long time, etc. Now, the zoning has remained the same, but I
have LUN masked the drives to only my NW server and the Robot to the AS
server. Since doing this, everything seems to be working pretty good.

Anyone else run in a similar config (i.e. FC/SCSI Bridges, AS, NW, etc.)
and can comment on allowing all hosts to see the same tape drives?
Would this be the cause of these odd occurrences (perhaps SCSI resets,
etc.)?

Any comments would be great.

Cheers,
Jim
