[Networker] networker error from client...
2003-05-23 10:59:59
05/23/03 10:46:14 nsrd: savegroup info: starting UNIX (with 2 client(s))
05/23/03 10:47:14 savegrp: command 'savefs -s sunbackup01b -c
sundb03.domain.deleted.com -g UNIX -p -l full -R -v ' for client
sundb03.domain.deleted.com exited with return code 9.
* sundb03.domain.deleted.com:All Connection timed out
05/23/03 10:47:14 savegrp: sundb03.domain.deleted.com:probe will retry 1
more time(s)
I get that this means that we can't connect at all, but rpcinfo -p sundb03
show an nsrexec process on the client side.
Is there any way I can get more verbose information on what exactly is
happening? Everything here is configured in /etc/host files and this seems
to happen with all my clients, this is a new environment. Is it simply a
permissions issue from the client or server side? For example, the client
thinks it should be called something different than what the server is
trying to call it? How can I set the name that the client will use, on the
client side?
