Multiple savesets from one partition is slated for a future release of
Legato 7 (but don't hold your breath).
I have considered but not tried setting up 2 client definitions on
specifying suitable indvidual top level directories and the other with a
save set of all but a using a directive that specifies skipping the
directories used in the other client definition.
eg.
one client definition :-
unix standard directive
save sets - /san/one /san/two /san/three
2nd client definition :-
unix special directive - skip /san/one /san/two /san/three
save sets - all

That way you get the multiple streams from one partition and catch anything
that gets added on - of course you still have to micro manage it for load
balancing etc.
