I think Matts is correct. When we swapped out out tape libraries
last year we changed the name of the juke and when Networker
inventoried it had to load and read about 300 tape labels which took
a while.

When we swapped out our second library and changed the name
of the juke before I inventoried I went into the Volumes window
of the gui and changed the location for all of the tapes in the library
from the old to the new jukebox and then inventoried. No problems
It took a while to manually change the location for ~200 tapes in the media
database but it was a lot less time than having networker load them
and read the labels.
