What we've done with our Windows NT 4.0 Servers that have more than one
volume is to specify the drive letters are you mentioned below. as well as
the SYSTEM_STATE:, etc.
NOTE: Make sure you know where your partitions are, networker DOES NOT Save
this information. Or if it does, it doesn't work. Their recovery stuff has
never worked for us. Get it from disk manager and print it out. Put it in
a folder. Yes I am serious.

An emergency rebuild happens so this is the general tactic:

1) Format the disks with the partitions the way they were before
(important) --> see above.
2) Load windows.
3) load networker client.
4) Restore EVERYTHING.

Reboot. Rewind. Relax.

Hey Matt. Then do you use NT tools to protect registry and system info
that
is normally backed up using ALL? Something like NRM or M$'s ERT?

Just curious. We have been unable to restore NT systems in the past, even
though Legato backed up the system state info so I'm wondering if this is
your motivation in dropping those save sets?
