Excellent point Gregory, thanks for mentioning.  Firmware has been an issue
and of late, I have experienced fewer drive hangs than in the past.

Sun has quite a bit of experience with these HP libraries but HP has little
experience working with Sun host systems.  This makes Sun a better source of
information for the whole issue, in my opinion.  A point well taken when
considering the entire system rather than a single drive or library.
