Hi,

something else you can do is look in the "savegrp.log" file for the
following string:

"No full backups of this save set were found in the media database;
performing a full backup"

This message would typically only occur the first time a saveset was backed
up.

Andrew

Hi,

Do a listing of the "index" directory and sort on create date. Each
sub-directory relates to a client and it's create date will correspond to
the date you added the client.

Networkers,

NW6.1 Sol8

I'm trying to get a list of 'new' clients. By new I mean Networker clients
which had their first backup taken somewhere in the last 10 days
It's mainly the 'first' part that bothers me, as my idea was to go about
this by getting all the sscreate dates for a client, and trying to find out
if all of them fell in that period of 10 days
this however is rather cumbersome, and not very waterproof (I'm thinking 1
week retention period)

What are your thoughts, suggestions ?

TIA,
Kris

PS: we glue with perl
