We're in the process of migrating to Veritas NetBackup.

If you are not on maintenance I'd recommend getting yourself onto
maintenance as you've got a release that Legato no longer even supports.

Our support contract is with Sun Storage, and they have not told us they're
not supporting us.  And Sun told us even with our maintenance contract an
upgrade from 5.x to 6.x had a fairly substantial fee associated with it.

What if you run into a situation where your data cannot be recovered and
you've got a release that you won't be able to get assistance with.

I suppose that's possible, but we've got a million hours/miles on what
we've got (excepting the Linux client).  I'm not particularly worried it's
gonna fall over now.
