Hi
I am cloning savesets (by hand using nsrclone for now) from one set of
media (DLT) to another set (LTO). I am running on Solaris 2.6 with
Networker 6.0.3 Build 358.
Running one such clone it encountered a problem reading one of the
required DLT volumes, and bombed out. Therefore the cloning was NOT
complete. However I see from mminfo:
mminfo -qpool=my_clone_pool \
-q"savetime>last friday" -r'totalsize,sumsize(15),ssid,volume,client,ssflags'
total size ssid volume client ssflags
146446071156 146446071156 1138644225 AWO801L1 garden vF
225184042944 10348283864 1138325249 AWO801L1 client vF
225184042944 214835759080 1138325249 AWO802L1 client vF
Note that
1. I cloned successfuly a saveset of 146 GB or so, all of which was
written to volume AWO801L1. So far so good!
2. The clone of ssid 1138325249 wrote 10 GB of data to that volume,
which became full. It then wrote lots more (165 GB or so) to volume
AWO802L1, but eventually failed with a read error (most likely bad DLT
media, though for now not 100% sure). The nsrclone command returned
at this point. Above output suggests that 214 GB was written to
AWO802L1 - I 100% know that this is NOT correct.
Should not the ssflags be set to include "i" for incomplete?
Anyone seent his type of thing before? Have I misunderstood
something about mminfo? Is this a known bug?
TIA,
Kevin
