I had the following environment:

Server: Windows 2000 SP2, Legato 6.1.2 Build 340.
Storage Nodes: 6 Windows 2000
               3 Solaris

I had a problem with block size. With the following
command:
C:\>mt -f \\.\Tape0 status
\\.\Tape0:
Current Status: No media in drive.

        default blocksize = 65536
        maximum blocksize = 65536

and storage nodes had maximum blocksize = 128KB

I modified the registry from the server to try to
increment this value, but I can´t.
Then, I created different pools to separate block
sizes. I know I could use NSR_DEV_BLOCK_SIZE_SDLT, but
the first was the prefer option.

Since then, I label tapes with the correct blocksize,
but I can´t do backup. I get a timeout.

I have complete delete NetWorker and reinstall it. I
have tried to create a file device and make a backup
of the default client (no DDS, no storage nodes...)
the most simple configuration, but I get the
following:

savegroup info: 'server' c:\ No full backups of ...
'e:\BACKUP' ready for writing, idle (this is the file
device)
write completion notice: Writing to volume 'xxx'
complete
'e:\BACKUP' ready for writing, done

And backup fails with timeout.

Any idea?
Thanks.
