Have you tried using the nsrmm command? Not 100% but I think this should
assist you.

Subject: unloading tape drive in remote storage node
Hi there, I've got a remote storage node and I want to automatically unload
the tape in the drive each morning when the backups complete and I am not in
the office. I can unmount the device from the GUI, but unfortunately, because
it's not a jukebox device, I can't seem to use the nsrjb command to unload it.
Is there a way I can accomplish this from the command line either on my
networker server or the storage node server?
Thanks,
Kevin
