There is a better way:

1. ensure that you have all licenses on a paper
2. delete all licenses ( exept base )
2. stop NetWorker server
3. make a backup copy of /nsr/res/nsr.res file
4. edit /nsr/res/nsr.res file, find base licence section and clear it
5. start Networker server

Now you can add new base license. I think that it is unsupport
procedure, but it works.

I'm in the process of migrating all of my existing NetWorker servers
(Solaris 8, running 6.1.1) from their current licensing enablers
("Enterprise Enabler", something Legato used to hand out but no longer
does) to a "normal" enabler (i.e., Network Edition.)

I'm running into an issue in that the existing base enabler (Enterprise)
can't be deleted via nwadmin or nsradmin before creating the new one
(Network.)

Somebody please tell me that Legato has a better way of accomplishing
this than having to re-install NetWorker from scratch...

TIA
