Philip,
There are a couple of ways to acheive this.
Method 1. (Not preferred by Legato)
Edit the /nsr/res/nsr.res file, carefully! (shutdown nsr and make a copy first)
Look for something like
enabler code: c12745b-4531d5a-c8d54a;
expiration date: Authorized - No expiration date;
license type: X10;
name: "NetWorker for UNIX, Power Edition/10";
type: NSR license;
resource identifier: 38.0.178.61.139.180.173.58.10.10.10.2(266)
The name field should match have, in your case, "Enterprise Enabler".
Delete all the lines from enabler code: to resource identifier:
Restart NetWorker daemons - it will now be in eval mode but with all other
resources such as groups, clients, pools, devices etc. still in tact.
Method 2.
Backup the /nsr directory
Print out all of your current enablers to a file
Perform your system changes (e.g.changing the IP address)
Shutdown NetWorker daemons
Run "nsrcap -l > /nsr/res/nsr.res.new" (without the quotes)
Save /nsr/res/nsr.res, then copy /nsr/res/nsr.res.new over /nsr/res/nsr.res
Restart NetWorker daemons - it will now be in eval mode but with all other
resources such as groups, clients, pools, devices etc. still in tact.
Method 3.
Wrestle with nsrcap to upgrade the licence as documented. {:-)
I like method 2

Simon

I'm in the process of migrating all of my existing NetWorker servers
(Solaris 8, running 6.1.1) from their current licensing enablers
("Enterprise Enabler", something Legato used to hand out but no longer
does) to a "normal" enabler (i.e., Network Edition.)
I'm running into an issue in that the existing base enabler (Enterprise)
can't be deleted via nwadmin or nsradmin before creating the new one
(Network.)
Somebody please tell me that Legato has a better way of accomplishing this
than having to re-install NetWorker from scratch...
TIA
