1. How much time between networker asking for another tape, and the new tape
being provided?
2. What does the daemon.log say when you mount the new tape? Anything about
"this tape is inelegible for this operation"? Or anything else that is odd?
3. When you put new tape in and mount it, have you tried re-labeling it and
then mounting it?

Hi Stan,

Backup server and client is AIX 4.3.3 NW5.5.3, the tape device is dlt7000
quantum. I believe it could be somethings to do with the particular client,
because for other clients backup I don't have this issue. Any idea to fix
this problem, otherwise I will go ahead and reinstall Networker again and
let u know.

cheers...
Robert

Not without knowing what your backup server and client configuration is.
Which Networker client/server versions, os, tape device, etc. are involved
here?
