Hey All,

Sorry for the late summary... holiday/vacation and such.

Turns out that with a StorageTek 9310 Silo with ACSLS you can only issue
one nsrjb -w command at a time. After issuing the command the CAP goes
into EJECT mode and will not accept any media until emptied. Below are
some options to eject multiple volumes with one command.

When ejecting several volumes with sequential tags(VOLSER
S00001-S00010).
# nsrjb -j STK9310 -w -x -T S/00001-00010

When ejecting several volumes with tags not in sequence.
# nsrjb -j STK9310 -w -x -T S00001 -T S00003 -T S00123 -T S00999
Using this method you are limit to around 20 volumes because nsrjb won't
accept anymore arguments.

Thanks,

Joel

Hey All,

I'm in the process of setting up a StorageTek 9310 Silo to be used with
Networker 6.0.3. I've notice that the documentation says that Legato
can only export 1 volume at a time?!?! Is anyone using a 9310 and run
into this problem? I suppose you can pass a list of volsers to acsls
directly and export the volumes outside of Networker control... but that
could be dangerous.

Any thoughts/ideas appreciated.

Solaris 2.6/Solstice Backup 6.0.3/Sun E450/STK 9310

Thanks,

Joel
