Hi Bob
All I can suggest is that the new volume you create (and that you want to
restore to) is the same format/namespaces as the volume the data was backed up
on. ie. NSS -> NSS, Traditional -> Traditional, but not NSS -> Traditional or
the other way around.
I have done a lot of testing recently with save set recovers to NW5.0 servers
with 4.21 client, and have had no problems. All of these servers have NSS
volumes.
... and yes, I feel your pain wrt 'marking' files :-)
Regards,
Ryan.

Legato server is Solaris 8, Networker 6.1.2
Client Netware 5, Networker 4.21
Hi Fellow networkers,
We've put new disks in our Netware servers and are trying to do a saveset
recover. Trouble is, all the files that come back are zero length. There's
something wrong and I don't know what.
The other option is to do a "normal" recovery but there's 168GB and it will
take forever to mark the files.
Any ideas anyone?
Bob
