For the LTO users - which LTO brand do you favour and
why?  Seagate, IBM or HP ?  Which one should we avoid?
 This will be for a STK library L80 or L180.

I am not going to express a choice, however I have worked with Seagate and
IBM.

The Seagate drives work fine provided that you stick with the recommended
brands of media. There are several brands of tapes out there that definitely
do NOT work with Seagate drives.

The IBM drives appear more tolerant.

I have no experience with the HP drives.
