Hi there,

I once had that problem. The way I made it work was to make a manual
backup from the Networker user for SQL server and see what saveset was
being recorded on the sessions window in the NW Administrator. I've done
it more than one year ago, so I don't quite remember what is the syntax
for the MSSQL:xxxx, but I'll try to see it for you.

Best regards

Subject: [Networker] SQL backup problem

I've just installed the SQL plugin for Networker.

If I make a backup from the local machine with "Networker user for SQL
server" , I can select a db and make a perfect backup of it...

But if I schedule the client at server level , to backup all db's (
saveset = MSSQL: ) , with backup command "nsrsqlsv" , correct pools ,
.... I receive following error :

* srvXXX:MSSQL: Microsoft SQL Server Provider error:

* srvXXX:MSSQL: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][Shared
Memory]Invalid connection..

* srvXXX:MSSQL: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][Shared
Memory]ConnectionOpen (Invalid Instance())..

* srvXXX:MSSQL:

* srvXXX:MSSQL: Cannot login to SQL Server null.

Does somebody has a clue on what is going wrong here ?

Thanx in advance ,

Kristof VdA
