Jim,

Does your recyclable volume is set manually or it has expired from the
period of the retention policy ?

Because, I have the same case.
I recycled several volumes manually ( twelve tapes ) and listed as
recyclable. NetWorker was pausing with the same message "waiting for
writeable volume". It was working if I relabel and mount them. Sometimes it
was working automatically without relabel and remount them, but the mounted
volumes is unpredicted. Sometimes it mount the volume from the second,
fourth, even, last slot.
And then, after writting tape from the last slot was completed, it was
waiting for the writeable volume. It can not mount the tapes which
descending order.

I am not sure, is it NetWorker 6.0.1 bug ?

Set the auto media management to enable, does not solve this problem.

Rgds,

Muhadi
