Hi list!

I've got a problem (nsrjb doesn't do anything anymore) with my networker
software that is partially due to my poor understanding of networker tools:
I'm running networker 5.5.3 on Solaris 8 with a HP Surestore 24x6 DDS3
jukebox (actually 2, but 1 is out of order at the moment).
I just wanted to recover a file from a tape whose browse time had
expired. So I unmounted the currently loaded tape using nwadmin,
inserted the old tape, and loaded it using mtx (poor choice, as it seems
now), tried to use scanner on that tape (which actually gave me some
ssids, but took way to long to be supervised all the time). I left scanner
running searching for a certain file
(/usr/sbin/nsr/scanner -S <ssid> /dev/rmt/2cbn \
 -x uasm -r -nv -m /home=/tmp/pff/networker/ <filename>)
when I left my office -- not heeding the fact that the next incremental
backup would probably get confused by that foreign tape in the autoloader.
So, the next day, networker complains about not having enough tapes in
the autoloader; however, just replacing the original tape and doing an
inventory didn't help, because the inventory just hangs and does nothing
(the jukebox remains quiet). Trying to load a certain tape just yields the
error message
"Cannot find slot -9999 in operation slots list"
(the jukebox itself is OK, I can [un]load with mtx).
That's the point where I decided to reboot (another poor idea, I guess).
It was just then that I realized that It would have been a nice idea to
issue an "nsrjb -Hv"... :-(
So, I did this after reboot... however, it doesn't do anything for >20 mins.
So: did I totally screw up my database? What can I do? Does anyone
have any idea?

I attach the output of "nsrjb -H -v -v -v".

Thanks for any hint!
  PFF
