Not sure if anyone is reading today but....

Currently I am backing up an Oracle filesystem that we normally backup with
datatools using a script on the client which runs save commands (ie. save -g
groupname -l full -q filesystem). All of the filesystems have been backed up
except where the datafiles live. If I use recover and cd to the directory
where the redo log files live, I cannot see any files. Is there something I
need to do to get these files I saved with the save command in the indexes
(please don't tell me scanner....)?

I have removed the .nsr files that were in these directories previously.

Thanks
