I would not call that one silly since the resets that are called will be
very disrutptive to backups, and it is something that can easily be
missed.

Silly question I suppose, but have you verified that the Windows RSM
service has been disabled?  Could be causing the conflict with your
media library?

I've never seen that before instance before.

I've been following the small files thread...
Small files indeed contributes to the slow backup
But still wondering whether any other thing can be tuned to improve it.


btw...
for this setup, i have another weird problem
everytime nsrjb command issued (from gui or cmd), it will perform
inventory
first before doing what it suppose to do.
for example, mounting catridge command issued, it will inventory the
library first before actually mounting the media to library.
networker used is version 6.2, and in pure windows environment.

anyone seeing this symptom before?
