Hi there
We have found that from the NetWare client, you get the red "unable to send"
box appear, but the backup still occur normally (ie. backups initiated from the
unix NetWorker server).
If you want to do any client-initiated stuff, you need to hit F8, specify the
server, then continue as normal.
Regards,
Ryan.

Hi,
we have found that if there is a network/machine failure, the NetWare box does
not connect to the backup server. Each netware box has to be restarted or
repointed manually. Have we done something wrong somewhere or is this normal?
Is the a way of polling for the server at regular intervals?
The clients are forced to the backup server by starting NetWorker with the -S
option.
Backup server is Sun/Unix with Legato 6.1.1 Build 238
Netware client is 4.21.
Thanks in advance,
Simon Phillips
