You could use a program that "watches" the daemon.log file for "tape is
full" messages and then executes a nsrjb -w on the full volume.
For example, I use SWATCH (Simple WATCHer) to monitor the daemon.log file
for full tapes to clone. When a message is received, I awk out the volume
number and pass it to a custom clone script. The same could be done for
ejecting full tapes.
