Hi all

We are currently implementing Legato NetWorker (on a unix box) backing up
NetWare 5.0 and 5.1 servers, to an ESL9000 storage unit.

I don't know much about the unix side, I'm looking after the client stuff on
the NetWare boxes. But I can find out anything needed from the unix side.

Currently, we use NSS volumes for our large volumes (>100Gb), and traditional
for smaller volumes.

The problem we are having is that when backing up these large NSS volumes, the
backup will stop part way through, citing NSS errors at the NetWare console.
For example, backing up a 320Gb NSS Volume, we can only manage to get to
between 12Gb and 33Gb before the backup fails, and the 'snapshot' volume
dismounts. Additionally, Legato reports back the volume as being successfully
backed up, ie. in the Successful Save Set section of the report.

Backing up a 65Gb traditional NetWare volume, however, does not encounter this
problem.

We are using tsa5up9, NetWorker 4.21, nss5n, snapshot 4.12.

Specific error messages at the NetWare console are listed below.

Legato are currently looking into it, but any help would be much appreciated.
