If you are within an NT environment, you could open NetWorker User and goto the
most recent time the file in question was backed up then click on the Versions.
That will give you the information you're looking for, size / date.

Subject: how to find out backup info on a file
If I know that a file has been backed up before but I
don't have the exact date for that, how do I find out?
Idealy, I need a list that shows when this file was
backed up and some other info like the size, the time
and date, etc. the size is important, because I may
need to decide which one to restore from based onthe
size.
Thanks.
