[Networker] Labeling tape on tapelibrary at storagenode
2002-09-13 09:33:22
Hi I have a problem with manually labeling tapes in a tapelibray on a
storagenode.
We have a Qualstar 4222 tapelibrary, attached to a W2K storagenode (sn1.was.nl).
In nwadmin it appears in the 'Devices:'-window as:
rd=sn1.was.nl:\\.\Tape0
The server is a Tru64 Unix box with 6.1.1 on it (nsrhost.was.nl).
Now I like to give a labelcommand on the server for a tape in the library.
let's say it's tape 000004 in slot 5 and pool SN1.
I tried the following 2 commands:
#nsrjb -L -b SN1 -J sn1.was.nl -S 5 000004
nsrjb: RAP error: no jukebox is accessible from this host.
# nsrjb -L -R -b SN1 -s sn1.was.nl -S 5 000004
nsrjb: cannot connect to NSR service on sn1.was.nl
nsrjb: RPC error: Program not registered
What am I doing wrong?
Can someone tell me the right command to use?
Regards, Kees Bol
