Hi Janelle

The command shows that the the Group (SystemData) is using the Default pool. I
checked the Pools and the SAParch pool has The group SystemData marked, the
Default pool doesn't.

Why would it still try and use the Default pool?

The SystemData group backup is a scheduked backup.

Regards

Doug

savegrp -p groupname will tell you what pool it is expecting save-sets to go
to.

Subject: [Networker] savegrp asking for tape from Default pool

Hi

We execute a scheduled savegrp every weekend. The Group is configured to use
Pool, SAParch. However, what I'm finding is that a session is waiting to mount
a tape from the Default pool.

>From the logs, the savegrp has used the correct pool. I have a feeling
that it is the Index backup that is asking for a tape from the Default pool.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Regards

Doug Phillips
